On the inside it's even better, but there was not enough light   And there are some types missing
Oaxaca is a colonial city, south of Mexico City (seven hours by coach). It has absolutely everything and a very pleasant atmosphere. This church is Santo Domingo, the city's jewel.

One stall at the "20 de Noviembre" market in Oaxaca. You can see.

It was a pain to get there, but it was worth it   There it is
One of the days in Oaxaca, we rented a car to visit the most interesting places in the surroundings. This is Hierve el Agua (literally, the water boils), a mountain zone with sulphurous waters and petrified waterfalls.

The car we rented. It's not the most suitable for Oaxaca state's roads, but we managed to get to the place.
Even if you don't believe it, there is a church behind the cactus   It's not a spot: it's me
At Mitla, the Spaniards built a church with stones taken from Zapotec temples. Then the Mexicans hid it behind some cactus.

From the Zapotec temples in Mitla, there are two buildings left which look like the one in the picture.

Better without silly faces   Last hours in Mexico
This is Monte Albán, close to Oaxaca. Apart from the temples, the spectacle were the valleys around.

Another take of the same Olmeca archaeological site.
